LUX VERITAS

Apocrypha · Chapter 14 of 114

The Shepherd of Hermas 14

Visions and Mandates

After you make known to them these words that the Lord commanded me to reveal to you, all the sins they committed previously will be forgiven.

2And for all the saints who have sinned up to this day, if they repent with all their heart and remove doubt from their hearts.

3Because the Lord swore by his glory to his elect: if, this day having been set as a limit, sin is subsequently committed, they shall not have salvation.

4For repentance for the righteous has an end; the days of repentance for all saints are fulfilled. But for the heathen there is repentance until the last day.
