How it works
A short devotional, made to fit your day
Moment with God is the same devotional as the Lux Veritas app, now in your browser. Each day brings a verse from a cycle of thirty Bible passages, with a short reflection written for real life, a question that helps you take the Word into your heart and a simple prayer to finish. You do not need an account or a subscription: the moment is free for everyone. When you say Amen, the day counts toward your sacred streak, the run of days you have spent with God.
The four steps of the moment
- Quiet your heart: follow the circle of light, breathe in as it grows and breathe out as it shrinks. Leave the day outside for a moment.
- Today's Word: read the verse slowly. If you like, tap Listen to hear the narration of the verse itself.
- Reflect: read the reflection and answer the question for your heart. The notebook is optional and what you write stays only in your browser.
- Pray: read the prayer slowly, aloud or in silence, and tap Amen to complete the moment and light your flame for the day.

Do I need an account to do the Moment with God?
No. The moment is free and works without signing up. The completed day counts toward your streak on the website, saved in this browser.
Is the verse the same on the website and in the app?
Yes. The website and the app follow the same cycle of thirty verses, so anyone using both finds the same Word on the same day.
Can anyone read what I write in the notebook?
No. The text is saved only in your browser, on this device. It is not sent to Lux Veritas or to anyone else.
Can I do the moment more than once a day?
Yes. After you finish, tap Do it again. Your streak counts the day only once.
