The questions that come in most — answered without fuss.

One account, one subscription

Worth highlighting: the subscription is a single one and follows your account. Subscribed here, it works in the app; subscribed on Google Play, it works on the site. Just sign in to both with the same account. Cancellation is done where you paid: on the site (Mercado Pago or card) or on Google Play.

I subscribed in the app. Why did the site not unlock it?
Almost always because you signed in with a different account. The subscription works on the site and in the app, but only when you sign in to both with the same account (Google or e-mail). Check in My account which e-mail is signed in. If in the app you still use it without an account, sign in with Google there to link your subscription.
So do I need to pay twice to use both?
No. One subscription, made here or on Google Play, unlocks the paid features on the site and in the app with the same account. Already subscribed through the app? Sign in with the same account. Reading the Scriptures stays free on both.
What is free on the site?
All of the text: Old and New Testaments, the 119 apocryphal books and selections of manuscripts. No chapter limit and no account needed, with search across all of Scripture and the Bible dictionary. Also free: 1 Living Word search per day, 2 AI studies per day, a narration sample (Psalm 23) and day 1 of each study journey. Free reading may show ads.
What does Premium unlock?
Chapter-by-chapter narration (in Portuguese, English, Spanish and German), Living Word with 90 credits a month, AI studies with no daily limit, all 6 study journeys (87 lessons), the reading plans and reading with no ads.
How much does it cost and how do I pay?
R$ 9,99 per month or R$ 79,99 per year, through Mercado Pago (card or Pix). Renewal is automatic and you can cancel whenever you want.
How do I cancel?
In My account, using the button that leads to your Mercado Pago subscriptions, or by writing to us by e-mail. Access continues until the end of the period already paid.
Can I ask for my money back?
Yes, in full, if you make the request within 7 calendar days of purchase (right of withdrawal under the Consumer Defense Code). After that, the current period is not refunded, but you cancel and are no longer charged.
Which Bible translation do you use?
In Portuguese, Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE), Copyright © Diego Santos, Mario Sérgio and Marco Teles, February 2018. Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Brazil license. Attribution is mandatory. In English, King James Version (1769), public domain; in Spanish, Reina-Valera 1909, public domain, with modernized spelling. Deuterocanonical and apocryphal books have their own provenance, indicated when documented. In other cases: Text prepared by Lux Veritas for continuous reading; the source edition is being documented. Bíblia Livre project · CC BY 3.0 BR.
Is the narration a human voice?
It is a state-of-the-art neural voice — it sounds natural, but it is synthesized. The verse lights up on screen as it is read, so you can follow with your eyes while you listen.
Are Living Word's answers reliable?
They are generated by artificial intelligence based on the Scriptures and are meant for devotional reflection. They may contain inaccuracies: always check the reference cited. They do not replace pastoral or professional counseling.
Do my favorites disappear if I switch browsers?
Yes. Favorites, history and streak are saved in the browser you use, for privacy. Your subscription, however, follows your account in any browser.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, click “Forgot password” and enter your e-mail: you receive a link to set a new one.
