The Shepherd of Hermas 13

Visions and Mandates

2And they heard that they were traitors of their parents. But they did not benefit from their betrayal, and added further dissolutions and a confusion of wickedness.

3And so the measure of their transgressions was complete. But make these words known to all your children and to your wife, who from now on will be to you as a sister.

4For she also does not refrain her tongue, by which she does evil; but when she hears these words, she will refrain and obtain mercy.
