She said to me: Can you report these things to God's elect? I said: Lady, I cannot remember so many things; but give me the booklet to copy it.

2Take it, she said, and return it to me. I took it and went to a certain corner of the field and copied everything, letter by letter, for I could not distinguish the syllables.

3When I finished the letters of the booklet, suddenly it was taken from my hand; but by whom I did not see.

4After fifteen days, having fasted and prayed much to the Lord, the knowledge of the writing was revealed to me.
