Ascension of Isaiah 2

Visio Isaiae

And it came to pass that after this Hezekiah died, and Manasseh became king, and soon forgot the counsels of his father.

2And Manasseh did not serve the God of his father and devoted himself to the worship of Satan, of his angels and of his powers.

3And he perverted the court of his father and all those who practiced the words of wisdom.

4And Manasseh devoted his heart to the service of Belial; and iniquities increased in the city.

5And magic arts, enchantments, auguries, divinations, fornications and adulteries increased.

6And when Isaiah saw the iniquity in Jerusalem, he left the city and went to dwell on a mountain, in a solitary place.

7And the prophets Micah, Ananiah, Joel, Habakkuk and many faithful went to live on the mountain with Isaiah.
