Letter to the Corinthians
Let us be imitators also of those who walked about in goatskins and sheepskins, preaching the coming of Christ. We mean Elijah, Elisha and also Ezekiel, the prophets, and besides them the men of renowned fame.
2Of Abraham great testimony was given, and he was called the friend of God; and looking humbly upon the glory of God, he says: I am dust and ashes.
3Moreover, it is written concerning Job: Job was righteous and blameless, true, fearing God and departing from all evil.
