Listen, he said: The field is this world, and the lord of the field is he who created all things and perfected them and strengthened them.
2And the son is the Holy Spirit; and the slave is the Son of God; and the vines are this people whom he planted.
3And the fences are the angels of the Lord who keep his people together; and the weeds that are pulled from the vineyard are the transgressions of the servants of God.
4And the foods he sent from the supper are the commandments he gave to his people through his Son.
