I replied: Did I sin against you? In what way? Or when did I say any improper word to you? Did I not always consider you as a goddess? Did I not always treat you as a sister?
2She smiled and said: The desire of evil rose in your heart. Does it not seem to you that it is a sin for a righteous man to have an evil desire in his heart?
3It is a sin, and a great sin. For the righteous man thinks righteous things. And while he thinks righteous things, his glory is firm in the heavens and he finds the Lord favorable in all his business.
4But those who think evil things in their hearts bring upon themselves death and captivity.
