But before I spoke and mentioned the place, she said: I will come wherever you wish.

2So I went to the field, counted the hours and arrived at the place I had marked for her to come, and I saw an ivory bench placed there.

3And on the bench was spread a linen cushion and on it a veil of fine linen.

4When I saw these things placed there and no one in the place, I was amazed and a trembling seized me.
