1Thus says the Lord: I brought you through the sea and prepared for you safe refuge from the beginning.
2I gave you Moses as a leader and Aaron as a priest.
3I gave you light through a pillar of fire and performed great wonders among you.
4But you have forgotten me, says the Lord.
5Thus says the Lord Almighty: The quails served you as a sign.
6I gave you a camp for your protection, but still you complained there.
7Did you not triumph in my name by the destruction of your enemies?
8Even now you do not cease to complain about the food I gave you.
9In the wilderness, when you were thirsty, did I not cause water to spring forth from the rock for you?
10Because of the heat, I covered you with the leaves of trees.
11I distributed fertile lands among you, and I cast out the Canaanites and Philistines before you.
12What more could I do for you?, says the Lord.
