From thence I passed on to the ends of the earth, where I saw large beasts different from each other, and birds different in their appearances and forms, as well as with notes of different sounds.
2To the east of these beasts I perceived the ends of the earth where heaven ceased, the gates of heaven stood open, and I saw the celestial stars come forth. I numbered them as they came forth out of the gate, and wrote them all down as they came out one after another, according to their numbers, their names altogether, their times, and their years, as the angel Uriel who was with me, had shewn them to me.
3He shewed them all to me, and wrote them down.
4He also wrote down for me their names, their regulations, and their operations.
