This is the way, beloved, in which we find our salvation: Jesus Christ, the high priest of our offerings, the guardian and helper of our weakness.
2Through him we look steadfastly to the heights of heaven; through him we see reflected the spotless and sublime face of God.
3Through him the eyes of our heart were opened; through him our empty and darkened mind springs up to the light.
4Through him the Lord willed that we should taste the immortal knowledge. Being the radiance of his majesty, he is much superior to the angels.
