Letter to the Corinthians

To you was given all glory and enlargement, and that which is written was fulfilled: He ate and drank, he grew fat and kicked.

2From this come jealousy and envy, strife and sedition, persecution and disorder, war and captivity.

3Thus the dishonored rose up against the honored, the discredited against the well-credited, the foolish against the prudent, the young against the elders.
