By her faith and hospitality, Rahab the harlot was saved.
2Because when the spies were sent to Jericho by Joshua son of Nun, the king of that land knew that they came to spy out his land.
3She received them and hid them under stalks of flax on the roof of her house.
4And when the king's messengers came, she said: Yes, the men came to me, but they departed at nightfall.
