Now a certain teacher named Zacchaeus, hearing Jesus speak these things to his father, was greatly astonished.
Because being a child, he said such things.
He said to Joseph: You have a wise child, entrust him to me to learn letters.
And I will teach him with letters all knowledge, and to greet the elders and honor them as grandparents and fathers.
Joseph said to him: And who is able to teach such a child? Do you suppose that he is a small cross?
Jesus heard and laughed and said: You have spoken the truth.
Zacchaeus was amazed at the child's reply.
