But during the night preceding Sunday, while the soldiers were keeping watch two by two, a great voice was produced in heaven.
2They saw the heavens opened and two men who descended, having around them a great radiance, and they approached the sepulcher.
3That stone which they had placed upon the door rolled away by itself and moved aside, whereupon the sepulcher was opened and both young men entered.
4Seeing this, those soldiers awakened the centurion and the elders, since these were also there keeping watch.
