Evangelho de Pedro 8

1Mas durante a noite que precedia o domingo, enquanto os soldados estavam fazendo a guarda de dois a dois, uma grande voz produziu-se no céu.

1But during the night preceding Sunday, while the soldiers were keeping watch two by two, a great voice was produced in heaven.

2Viram os céus abertos e dois homens que desciam, tendo à sua volta um grande resplendor, e aproximaram-se do sepulcro.

2They saw the heavens opened and two men who descended, having around them a great radiance, and they approached the sepulcher.

3Aquela pedra que haviam colocado sobre a porta rolou com o seu próprio impulso e pôs-se de lado, com o que o sepulcro ficou aberto e ambos os jovens entraram.

3That stone which they had placed upon the door rolled away by itself and moved aside, whereupon the sepulcher was opened and both young men entered.

4Ao verem isto, aqueles soldados despertaram o centurião e os anciãos, já que também estes encontravam-se ali fazendo guarda.

4Seeing this, those soldiers awakened the centurion and the elders, since these were also there keeping watch.
