Epistle of Barnabas 20

Apostolic Teaching

But the way of darkness is crooked and full of cursing.

2For it is the way of eternal death with punishment.

3In it are the things that destroy the soul: idolatry, boldness, arrogance of power.

4Hypocrisy, doubleness of heart, adultery, murder, theft.

5Pride, transgression, deceit, malice, stubbornness.

6Sorcery, magic, covetousness, lack of fear of God.

7Persecutors of the good, haters of truth, lovers of lies.

8Who do not know the reward of righteousness, nor cleave to the good.
