It is for this reason that all these visions aroused the wrath of Belial; he took hold of the heart of Manasseh, who cut the prophet with a saw.
2And while Isaiah was thus being cut, Belkira accused him, and the false prophets watched his torment.
3And Belial said to Isaiah: 'Confess that all you said is only lies.'
4But Isaiah was transported in vision and his eyes were open.
5And he said: 'All your power is limited to taking from me a miserable life.'
6And they sawed Isaiah, son of Amoz, with a wood saw.
7And Isaiah, while the saw penetrated his flesh, did not utter a single complaint.
