But God looked upon them; for they had killed themselves through great sorrow.
2But He wished to raise them and comfort them.
3Therefore He sent them His Word so that they might stand and be raised.
4The Lord said: 'You disobeyed by your own free will, until you went out of the garden.'
5'Because of your desire for divinity, I deprived you of your luminous nature.'
6'But the wicked Satan, who did not remain in his original condition, made the tree seem pleasant to your eyes.'
7'For I am God the Creator, the one who did not intend to destroy creatures, but that they should repent.'
