1 Adão e Eva 6

1Mas Deus olhou para eles; pois eles se haviam matado pelo grande pesar.

1But God looked upon them; for they had killed themselves through great sorrow.

2Mas Ele queria ressuscitá-los e consolá-los.

2But He wished to raise them and comfort them.

3Portanto enviou-lhes Sua Palavra a fim de que ficassem em pé e fossem ressuscitados.

3Therefore He sent them His Word so that they might stand and be raised.

4O Senhor disse: 'Desobedecestes por vossa livre vontade, até que saístes do jardim.'

4The Lord said: 'You disobeyed by your own free will, until you went out of the garden.'

5'Por vosso desejo de divindade, Eu vos privei da natureza luminosa.'

5'Because of your desire for divinity, I deprived you of your luminous nature.'

6'Mas o maldoso Satã, que não se manteve em sua primitiva condição, fez a árvore parecer agradável a vossos olhos.'

6'But the wicked Satan, who did not remain in his original condition, made the tree seem pleasant to your eyes.'

7'Pois Eu sou Deus o Criador, aquele que não tencionava destruir as criaturas, mas que elas se arrependessem.'

7'For I am God the Creator, the one who did not intend to destroy creatures, but that they should repent.'
