The servants of the grace of God spoke by the Holy Spirit concerning repentance.
2The Lord of all things himself spoke concerning repentance with an oath: As I live, says the Lord, I do not want the death of the sinner, but rather that he repent.
3And he also added a good disposition: Repent, O house of Israel, of your iniquity.
4Say to the children of my people: Though your sins extend from earth to heaven, and be redder than scarlet and blacker than sackcloth, and you turn to me with all your heart and say: Father!, I will hear you as a holy people.
