"The first ruler, who is in the first dungeon, hath the face of a crocodile whose tail is in its mouth. The second ruler, who is in the second dungeon, hath the face of a cat.

2"The third ruler, who is in the third dungeon, hath the face of a dog. The fourth ruler, who is in the fourth dungeon, hath the face of a serpent.

3"The fifth ruler, who is in the fifth dungeon, hath the face of a black bull. The sixth ruler, who is in the sixth dungeon, hath the face of a wild boar.

4"The seventh ruler, who is in the seventh dungeon, hath the face of a basilisk. The eighth ruler, who is in the eighth dungeon, hath the face of a bear.

5"The ninth ruler, who is in the ninth dungeon, hath the face of an asp. The tenth ruler, who is in the tenth dungeon, hath the face of a wolf.

6"The eleventh ruler, who is in the eleventh dungeon, hath the face of a dragon. The twelfth ruler, who is in the twelfth dungeon, hath the face of a basilisk whose eyes are fire.

7"These twelve rulers are over the twelve dungeons of the dragon of the outer darkness, and every one of them hath a name according to his authentic authority, and their chastisements are exceedingly cruel and bitter."
