2Joseph took Mary to his house. She found the little James in the sad condition of an orphan.
3Mary showered him with affection and care. For this reason they called her Mary, the mother of James.
4After settling her in his house, Joseph left to practice his trade as a carpenter.
5My mother Mary lived two years in his house, until the happy moment arrived.
6At that time, Joseph was a righteous and God-fearing man.
7And thus began the history of the Holy Family.
