Declaration
The next day, they took Jesus to the palace of Caiaphas.
2Annas and Caiaphas asked: 'Why did you steal our Law?'
3Jesus answered nothing. They asked: 'Why do you intend to destroy the sanctuary of Solomon?'
4Jesus answered nothing to this question either.
5Then Annas and Caiaphas secretly gave gold to Judas Iscariot.
6They said: 'Say that the Law was stolen by Jesus, so that the crime falls upon him.'
7Thus, cunningly, they plotted against the Lord Jesus.
