Satan said to the Underworld: 'Prepare yourself to receive someone I am going to bring you.'
2The Underworld answered: 'This voice was the cry of the Son of the Most High Father.'
3'The earth and the places of the Underworld were shaken before his words.'
4'Do not bring him to me, lest we ourselves be captured by him.'
5'If only with his voice my fortress was undone, what shall I do in his presence?'
6The Underworld said: 'Let me hide, for I cannot bear his strength.'
7At that moment, Christ entered, scourged Satan and bound him with chains that cannot be broken.
