For many times the Sun, the great light, has appealed to the Lord, saying: O Lord God Almighty, look upon the impiety and injustice of men.

2Permit me and I will do to them according to my power, that they may know that you alone are God.

3And behold there came a voice to him saying: I know all these things, for my eye sees, and my ear hears, but my long-suffering bears with them, until they convert and repent.

4But if they do not turn to me, I will judge them all.
