He who hastens to make offering before the face of the Lord, the Lord for his part will hasten that offering by granting from his work.
2But he who increases his lamp before the face of the Lord and does not make true judgment, the Lord will not increase his treasure in the kingdom of the most high.
3When the Lord demands bread, or candles, or meat, or any other sacrifice, then that is nothing; but God demands pure hearts, and with all that only tests the heart of man.
