2 Enoque 45

1Quem se apressa a fazer oferenda diante da face do Senhor, o Senhor por sua parte apressará essa oferenda concedendo de sua obra.

1He who hastens to make offering before the face of the Lord, the Lord for his part will hasten that offering by granting from his work.

2Mas quem aumenta sua lâmpada diante da face do Senhor e não faz julgamento verdadeiro, o Senhor não aumentará seu tesouro no reino do altíssimo.

2But he who increases his lamp before the face of the Lord and does not make true judgment, the Lord will not increase his treasure in the kingdom of the most high.

3Quando o Senhor exige pão, ou velas, ou carne, ou qualquer outro sacrifício, então isso não é nada; mas Deus exige corações puros, e com tudo isso apenas testa o coração do homem.

3When the Lord demands bread, or candles, or meat, or any other sacrifice, then that is nothing; but God demands pure hearts, and with all that only tests the heart of man.
