Brethren, we ought to think of Jesus Christ as we think of God, as judge of the living and the dead.
2And we ought not to think lightly of our salvation.
3For when we think lightly of him, we hope also to receive little.
4And those who hear as of small things, sin.
5And we also sin, not knowing from where we were called, by whom and to what place.
6And how many sufferings Jesus Christ endured for our sake.
7What recompense shall we give him? Or what fruit worthy of what he has given us?
8And how many benefits we owe him!
