Letter to the Corinthians
The good worker receives the bread of his labor with confidence; the lazy and negligent one does not dare look at the one who employed him.
2It is necessary, therefore, that we be ready to do good, for all things come from him.
3For he warns us beforehand: Behold, the Lord comes, and his reward is before his face, to pay each one according to his work.
4He exhorts us to believe in him with all our heart and not to be lazy or negligent in any good work.
