LUX VERITAS

Apocrypha · Chapter 26 of 65

1 Clement 26

Letter to the Corinthians

Do we find it great and wonderful, then, that the Creator of all things will raise all who served him in holiness, in the confidence of a good faith, seeing that even by a bird he shows us the greatness of his promise?

2For it says somewhere: You will raise me up and I will praise you.

3And: I lay down and slept; I rose up because you are with me.

4And again Job says: And you will raise up this my flesh, which has endured all these things.
