Psalmoi Solomontos
Do not dwell far from us, O God, lest those who despise us come upon us.
2You, by your will, shall correct us; but do not give us to the Gentiles!
3For you are merciful and will not be angry to destroy us.
4While your name dwells in our midst, we shall obtain mercy.
5For you are our great shield; we will invoke you, and you will answer us.
6We are under your eternal yoke and the scourge of your discipline.
7You guide us in the time of your aid, to have mercy on Jacob.
