Apocrypha · Chapter 14 of 16

Didache 14

Doctrine of the Apostles

Assemble on the Lord's Day, break bread and give thanks, after having confessed your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure.

2But let no one who has a quarrel with his companion join you until they are reconciled, that your sacrifice may not be profaned.

3For this is that which was spoken by the Lord: 'In every place and time offer me a pure sacrifice; for I am a great King, says the Lord, and my name is wonderful among the nations.'

About Didache

A handbook of the Christian community from the end of the 1st century: the two ways, how to baptise, how to pray, how to celebrate the eucharist and how to spot a prophet who is in it for himself.
