As the sun is the joy of those who seek its daybreak, so is my joy the Lord;
2Because he is my Sun, and his rays have lifted me up; and his light has dispelled all darkness from my face.
3Eyes I acquired in him, and saw his holy day.
4Ears I acquired, and heard his truth.
5The thought of knowledge I acquired, and enjoyed delight fully through him.
6I repudiated the way of error, and went toward him and received salvation from him abundantly.
7And according to his generosity he gave to me, and according to his excellent beauty he made me.
8I put on immortality through his name, and took off corruption by his grace.
9Death was destroyed before my face, and Sheol was vanquished by my word.
10And eternal life arose in the land of the Lord, and was declared to his faithful, and was given without limit to all who trust in him. Hallelujah.
