Odes de Salomão 15

1Como o sol é a alegria daqueles que buscam seu alvorecer, assim é minha alegria o Senhor;

1As the sun is the joy of those who seek its daybreak, so is my joy the Lord;

2Porque ele é meu Sol, e seus raios me levantaram; e sua luz dissipou toda a escuridão da minha face.

2Because he is my Sun, and his rays have lifted me up; and his light has dispelled all darkness from my face.

3Olhos eu obtive nele, e vi seu santo dia.

3Eyes I acquired in him, and saw his holy day.

4Ouvidos eu adquiri, e ouvi sua verdade.

4Ears I acquired, and heard his truth.

5O pensamento do conhecimento eu adquiri, e desfrutei deleite plenamente através dele.

5The thought of knowledge I acquired, and enjoyed delight fully through him.

6Repudiei o caminho do erro, e fui em direção a ele e recebi salvação dele abundantemente.

6I repudiated the way of error, and went toward him and received salvation from him abundantly.

7E de acordo com sua generosidade ele me deu, e de acordo com sua excelente beleza ele me fez.

7And according to his generosity he gave to me, and according to his excellent beauty he made me.

8Vesti a imortalidade através do seu nome, e tirei a corrupção pela sua graça.

8I put on immortality through his name, and took off corruption by his grace.

9A morte foi destruída diante da minha face, e o Sheol foi vencido pela minha palavra.

9Death was destroyed before my face, and Sheol was vanquished by my word.

10E a vida eterna surgiu na terra do Senhor, e foi declarada aos seus fiéis, e foi dada sem limite a todos os que confiam nele. Aleluia.

10And eternal life arose in the land of the Lord, and was declared to his faithful, and was given without limit to all who trust in him. Hallelujah.
