1In the tenth heaven, Aravoth, I saw how the face of the Lord was, like iron burning in fire.
2Thus I saw the face of the Lord, but the face of the Lord is ineffable, wonderful and very sublime and very terrible.
3And I must bow and reverence the Lord, and the Lord with his lips said to me:
4'Have courage, Enoch, do not fear, arise before my face in eternity.'
5And the archangel Michael arose and led me before the face of the Lord.
6And the Lord said to Michael: 'Go and strip Enoch of his earthly garments and anoint him with my sweet balm.'
7And Michael did so, and I was like his glorious ones.
