Reflection
The Book of Enoch, preserved by the Ethiopian Orthodox tradition and rediscovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls, opens with a prophetic blessing addressed to the final generation. Enoch, the seventh from Adam, describes cosmic visions and secrets revealed by the holy angels. His revelation invites us to lift the eyes of the mind and grasp that human history is watched from the heavens. It teaches that the justice of God will prevail even in the darkest ages, and it remains a steady source of hope for all who await the unveiling of His righteousness.
