Pistis Sophia 28

Wisdom of Faith

Ler em portuguêsCompare PT / EN

And Jesus continued again in the discourse and said unto his disciples: "Hearken concerning the things which befell me among the rulers of the twelve aeons and all their rulers and their lords and their authorities and their angels and their archangels. When then they had seen the vesture of light which was about me, they and their unpaired, every one of them saw the mystery of his name on my vesture of light, which was about me. They fell down all together, adored the vesture of light which was about me, and cried out all together, saying: 'How hath the lord of the universe passed through us without our knowing?' And they all together sang praises to the interiors of the interiors.

2"And all their triple-powers and their great forefathers and their ungenerated and their self-generated and their generated and their light-givers and their pure light-emanations, all gazed at the light of my vesture; they saw the light of my vesture, and they saw the mystery of their name on my vesture, and they rejoiced in great joy, and were in great gladness, and sang praises all together to the interiors of the interiors.

3"And all their tyrants and their great rulers became as the dead through the great fear of the light in which I was. And moreover all the rulers who are in the sphere and all those of the Fate were thrown into great agitation, and were in great fear and trembling, and they fell down and adored the vesture of light which was about me, and cried out all together, singing praises to the interiors of the interiors, and were in great fear and agitation, because they saw the mystery of their name on my vesture of light."
