Paul, an apostle not of men nor by men, but through Jesus Christ, to the brethren who are in Laodicea.
2Grace to you and peace from God the Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ.
3I give thanks to Christ in all my prayers because you remain in Him and persevere in his works.
4Awaiting the promise of the day of judgment.
5That you be not deceived by the vain preaching of some lest they turn you away from the truth of the Gospel.
6May God allow that those who were sent by me to profess the truth of the Gospel perform good works.
7At the moment, my chains are evident - I who suffer in Christ - for which I am happy and rejoice.
