When the princes of the Merkabah and the flaming Seraphim saw me, they fixed their eyes on me.
2Immediately I trembled and shook and fell faint because of the splendor of their eyes and the radiating beauty and majesty of their appearance.
3Until the Holy One, blessed be He, rebuked me and said: Fear not, my servant Ishmael! Arise and behold my glory.
4And the Prince of the Face, Metatron, lifted me up and restored my spirit.
