LUX VERITAS

Apocrypha · Chapter 1 of 48

3 Enoch 1

Hebrew

Rabbi Ishmael said: When I ascended on high to behold the vision of the Chariot, I entered six palaces, one inside the other.

2When I reached the gate of the seventh palace, I stood in prayer before the Holy One, blessed be He.

3And I lifted my eyes on high and said: Lord of the universe, I pray that the merit of Aaron, son of Amram, lover of peace and seeker of peace, who received the crown of priesthood of glory on Mount Sinai, be with me at this hour.

4That Prince Qatspi'el and the angels with him may have no power over me nor cast me from heaven.
