1Disse Rabi Ismael: Quando subi às alturas para contemplar a visão da Carruagem, entrei em seis palácios, um dentro do outro.

1Rabbi Ishmael said: When I ascended on high to behold the vision of the Chariot, I entered six palaces, one inside the other.

2Quando cheguei à porta do sétimo palácio, parei em oração diante do Santo, bendito seja.

2When I reached the gate of the seventh palace, I stood in prayer before the Holy One, blessed be He.

3E levantei meus olhos ao alto e disse: Senhor do universo, peço-te que o mérito de Arão, filho de Amram, amante da paz e buscador da paz, que recebeu a coroa do sacerdócio da glória no Monte Sinai, esteja comigo nesta hora.

3And I lifted my eyes on high and said: Lord of the universe, I pray that the merit of Aaron, son of Amram, lover of peace and seeker of peace, who received the crown of priesthood of glory on Mount Sinai, be with me at this hour.

4Para que o príncipe Qatspi'el e os anjos com ele não tenham poder sobre mim nem me lancem dos céus.
