FIRST COMMANDMENT: First of all, believe that God is one, who created all things and organized them, and from nothing made all things exist.
2He comprehends all things, being himself incomprehensible. Believe in him, therefore, and fear him, and fearing him, be continent.
3Keep these things and you will cast from you all wickedness, and you will clothe yourself with every virtue of righteousness, and you will live for God, if you keep this commandment.
