And, at times, the moon and the stars have appealed to the Lord, saying: O Lord God Almighty, to us you have given the rule over the night.
2How long shall we look upon the impieties and fornications and murders that the sons of men commit?
3Permit us to do to them according to our powers, that they may know that you alone are God.
4And there came a voice to them saying: I know all these things, and my eyes look upon them, and my ears attend, but my long-suffering bears with them until they convert and repent.
5But if they do not return to me, I will judge them.
