Apocalipse de Paulo 5

1E, por vezes, a lua e as estrelas têm apelado ao Senhor, dizendo: Ó Senhor Deus Todo-Poderoso, a nós tens dado o governo sobre a noite.

1And, at times, the moon and the stars have appealed to the Lord, saying: O Lord God Almighty, to us you have given the rule over the night.

2Até quando olharemos para as impiedades e fornicações e assassinatos que os filhos dos homens cometem?

2How long shall we look upon the impieties and fornications and murders that the sons of men commit?

3Autorize-nos fazer a eles segundo os nossos poderes, para que saibam que só Tu és Deus.

3Permit us to do to them according to our powers, that they may know that you alone are God.

4E veio-lhes uma voz que dizia: Conheço todas estas coisas, e os meus olhos olham para eles, e os meus ouvidos atentam, mas a minha longanimidade carrega com eles até que se convertam e se arrependam.

4And there came a voice to them saying: I know all these things, and my eyes look upon them, and my ears attend, but my long-suffering bears with them until they convert and repent.

5Mas se não voltarem a mim, eu os julgarei.

5But if they do not return to me, I will judge them.
