Ascensão de Isaías 9

1E levou-me ao ar do sétimo céu, e além disso ouvi uma voz que dizia: "Até onde subirá o que habita na carne?" E temi e tremi.

1AND he took me into the air of the seventh heaven, and moreover I heard a voice saying: "How far will he ascend that dwelleth in the flesh?" And I feared and trembled.

2E quando tremi, eis que ouvi, dali, outra voz sendo enviada, que dizia: "É permitido ao santo Isaías subir até aqui; pois aqui está a sua veste."

2And when I trembled, behold, I heard from hence another voice being sent forth, and saying: "It is permitted to the holy Isaiah to ascend hither; for here is his garment."

3E perguntei ao anjo que estava comigo e disse: "Quem é o que me proibiu e quem é o que me permitiu subir?"

3And I asked the angel who was with me and said: "Who is he who forbade me and who is he who permitted me to ascend?"

4E ele me disse: "O que te proibiu é aquele que está sobre o louvor do sexto céu.

4And he said unto me: "He who forbade thee, is he who is over the praise-giving of the sixth heaven.

5E Aquele que te permitiu, este é o teu Senhor Deus, o Senhor Cristo, que será chamado "Jesus" no mundo, mas o Seu nome não podes ouvir até que tenhas subido para fora do teu corpo."

5And He who permitted thee, this is thy Lord God, the Lord Christ, who will be called "Jesus" in the world, but His name thou canst not hear till thou hast ascended out of thy body."

6E elevou-me ao sétimo céu, e vi ali uma luz maravilhosa e anjos inumeráveis.

6And he raised me up into the seventh heaven, and I saw there a wonderful light and angels innumerable.

7E ali vi o santo Abel e todos os justos.

7And there I saw the holy Abel and all the righteous.

8E ali vi Enoque e todos os que estavam com ele, despidos das vestes da carne, e vi-os nas suas vestes do mundo superior, e eram como anjos, ali de pé em grande glória.

8And there I saw Enoch and all who were with him, stript of the garments of the flesh, and I saw them in their garments of the upper world, and they were like angels, standing there in great glory.

9Mas não estavam sentados nos seus tronos, nem as suas coroas de glória estavam sobre eles.

9But they sat not on their thrones, nor were their crowns of glory on them.

10E perguntei ao anjo que estava comigo: "Como é que receberam as vestes, mas não têm os tronos e as coroas?"

10And I asked the angel who was with me: "How is it that they have received the garments, but have not the thrones and the crowns?"

11E ele me disse: "Coroas e tronos de glória não recebem, até que o Amado desça na forma em que O vereis descer [descerá, digo] ao mundo nos últimos dias, o Senhor, que será chamado Cristo.

11And he said unto me: "Crowns and thrones of glory they do not receive, till the Beloved will descend in the form in which you will see Him descend [will descend, I say] into the world in the last days the Lord, who will be called Christ.

12Contudo, eles veem e sabem de quem serão os tronos, e de quem as coroas, quando Ele tiver descido e sido feito na vossa forma, e pensarão que Ele é carne e é homem.

12Nevertheless they see and know whose will be thrones, and whose the crowns when He has descended and been made in your form, and they will think that He is flesh and is a man.

13E o deus daquele mundo estenderá a sua mão contra o Filho, e O crucificarão num madeiro, e O matarão sem saber quem Ele é.

13And the god of that world will stretch forth his hand against the Son, and they will crucify Him on a tree, and will slay Him not knowing who He is.

14E assim a Sua descida, como vereis, ficará oculta até mesmo dos céus, de modo que não se saberá quem Ele é.

14And thus His descent, as you will see, will be hidden even from the heavens, so that it will not be known who He is.

15E quando Ele tiver despojado o anjo da morte, subirá ao terceiro dia, [e permanecerá naquele mundo quinhentos e quarenta e cinco dias].

15And when He hath plundered the angel of death, He will ascend on the third day, [and he will remain in that world five hundred and forty-five days].

16E então muitos dos justos subirão com Ele, cujos espíritos não recebem as suas vestes até que o Senhor Cristo suba e eles subam com Ele.

16And then many of the righteous will ascend with Him, whose spirits do not receive their garments till the Lord Christ ascend and they ascend with Him.

17Então, de fato, receberão as suas [vestes e] tronos e coroas, quando Ele tiver subido ao sétimo céu."

17Then indeed they will receive their [garments and] thrones and crowns, when He has ascended into the seventh heaven."

18E eu lhe disse aquilo que lhe tinha perguntado no terceiro céu:

18And I said unto him that which I had asked him in the third heaven:

19"Mostra-me como tudo o que se faz naquele mundo é aqui dado a conhecer."

19"Show me how everything which is done in that world is here made known."

20E enquanto eu ainda falava com ele, eis que um dos anjos que estavam perto, mais glorioso do que a glória daquele anjo que me tinha elevado do mundo.

20And whilst I was still speaking with him, behold one of the angels who stood nigh, more glorious than the glory of that angel, who had raised me up from the world.

21Mostrou-me um livro, [mas não como um livro deste mundo] e o abriu, e o livro estava escrito, mas não como um livro deste mundo. E deu-mo, e eu o li, e eis que as obras dos filhos de Israel estavam ali escritas, e as obras daqueles que não conheço, meu filho Josab.

21Showed me a book, [but not as a book of this world] and he opened it, and the book was written, but not as a book of this world. And he gave (it) to me and I read it, and lo! the deeds of the children of Israel were written therein, and the deeds of those whom I know (not), my son Josab.

22E eu disse: "Em verdade, nada está oculto no sétimo céu do que se faz neste mundo."

22And I said: "In truth, there is nothing hidden in the seventh heaven, which is done in this world."

23E vi ali muitas vestes guardadas, e muitos tronos e muitas coroas.

23And I saw there many garments laid up, and many thrones and many crowns.

24E disse ao anjo: "De quem são estas vestes e tronos e coroas?"

24And I said to the angel: "Whose are these garments and thrones and crowns?"

25E ele me disse: "Estas vestes muitos daquele mundo receberão, crendo nas palavras daquele Outro, que será nomeado como te disse, e observarão essas coisas, e nelas crerão, e crerão na Sua cruz: para eles estão elas guardadas."

25And he said unto me: "These garments many from that world will receive, believing in the words of That One, who shall be named as I told thee, and they will observe those things, and believe in them, and believe in His cross: for them are these laid up."

26E vi um certo Alguém de pé, cuja glória excedia a de todos, e a Sua glória era grande e maravilhosa.

26And I saw a certain One standing, whose glory surpassed that of all, and His glory was great and wonderful.

27E depois que O vi, todos os justos que eu tinha visto e também os anjos que eu tinha visto vieram a Ele. E Adão e Abel e Sete e todos os justos primeiro se aproximaram e O adoraram, e todos O louvaram a uma só voz, e eu mesmo também dei louvor com eles, e o meu louvor era como o deles.

27And after I had seen Him, all the righteous whom I had seen and also the angels whom I had seen came to Him. And Adam and Abel and Seth and all the righteous first drew near and worshipped Him, and they all praised Him with one voice, and I myself also gave praise with them, and my giving of praise was as theirs.

28E então todos os anjos se aproximaram e adoraram e deram louvor.

28And then all the angels drew nigh and worshipped and gave praise.

29E fui (de novo) transformado e tornei-me como um anjo.

29And I was (again) transformed and became like an angel.

30E então o anjo que me conduzia disse-me: "Adora este Alguém", e adorei e louvei.

30And thereupon the angel who conducted me said to me: "Worship this One," and I worshipped and praised.

31E o anjo me disse: "Este é o Senhor de todos os louvores que viste."

31And the angel said unto me: "This is the Lord of all the praise-givings which thou hast seen."

32E enquanto ele ainda falava, vi outro Glorioso que era semelhante a Ele, e os justos se aproximaram e adoraram e louvaram, e eu louvei juntamente com eles. Mas a minha glória não foi transformada em conformidade com a forma deles.

32And whilst he was still speaking, I saw another Glorious One who was like Him, and the righteous drew nigh and worshipped and praised, and I praised together with them. But my glory was not transformed into accordance with their form.

33E então os anjos se aproximaram e O adoraram.

33And thereupon the angels drew near and worshipped Him.

34E vi o Senhor e o segundo anjo, e estavam de pé.

34And I saw the Lord and the second angel, and they were standing.

35E o segundo que vi estava à esquerda do meu Senhor. E perguntei: "Quem é este?" e ele me disse: "Adora-O, pois Ele é o anjo do Espírito Santo, que fala em ti e nos demais justos."

35And the second whom I saw was on the left of my Lord. And I asked: "Who is this?" and he said unto me: "Worship Him, for He is the angel of the Holy Spirit, who speaketh in thee and the rest of the righteous."

36E vi a grande glória, estando abertos os olhos do meu espírito, e não pude então ver, nem tampouco o anjo que estava comigo, nem todos os anjos que eu tinha visto adorando o meu Senhor.

36And I saw the great glory, the eyes of my spirit being open, and I could not thereupon see, nor yet could the angel who was with me, nor all the angels whom I had seen worshipping my Lord.

37Mas vi os justos contemplando com grande poder a glória daquele Alguém.

37But I saw the righteous beholding with great power the glory of that One.

38E o meu Senhor aproximou-se de mim, e o anjo do Espírito, e disse: "Vê como te é dado ver a Deus, e por tua causa é dado poder ao anjo que está contigo."

38And my Lord drew nigh to me and the angel of the Spirit and He said: "See how it is given to thee to see God, and on thy account power is given to the angel who is with thee."

39E vi como o meu Senhor e o anjo do Espírito adoravam, e ambos juntos louvavam a Deus.

39And I saw how my Lord and the angel of the Spirit worshipped, and they both together praised God.

40E então todos os justos se aproximaram e adoraram.

40And thereupon all the righteous drew near and worshipped.

41E os anjos se aproximaram e adoraram, e todos os anjos louvaram.

41And the angels drew near and worshipped and all the angels praised.
