Apócrifos

Declaration of Joseph of Arimathea 2

1Judas Iscariot was a nephew of Caiaphas, not a sincere disciple of Jesus.

2He had been instigated by the Jews to follow Jesus with the objective of catching Him in some lie.

3They gave him a gold drachma per day. He had been in the company of Jesus for two years.

4Three days before the arrest, Judas said to the Jews: 'I commit myself to making the accusation.'

5Nicodemus, in charge of the keys of the sanctuary, said: 'Do not do such a thing.'

6But the daughter of Caiaphas, called Sarah, said: 'He said: I am able to destroy this temple in three days.'

7Once consensus was reached, Jesus was arrested.
