While they were explaining what had just happened, they saw three men coming out of the sepulcher, two of whom were supporting a third, and a cross that followed behind them.
2The heads of the first two reached to heaven, while that of him who was led by them surpassed the heavens.
3They heard a voice coming from the heavens saying: 'Have you preached to those who sleep?'
4And from the cross was heard a response: 'Yes.'
5Then they began to plan how to tell Pilate what had occurred.
